The National Assessment on Gender and STI Project is a joint initiative of Women in Global Science and Technology (WISAT) and the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD). Preliminary results of this study are presented here from a pilot assessment of six countries and one region: Brazil, India, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, South Africa, the United States, and the European Union. One of the study key findings is that women participate at much lower levels in knowledge society decision making and the knowledge economy than men. Read the Report
