Sotirios Keros is the co-founder of DOCTORED MONEY™ (www.DOCTOREDMONEY.org), a not-for-profit advocacy organization devoted to unbiased financial education for physicians, with the goal of encouraging an embedded financial curriculum during medical training. Sotirios has been giving financial lectures and seminars for more than 15 years. During the past 3 years, his lectures on behalf of DOCTORED MONEY have been attended by almost 3000 medical professionals.
 
Sotirios obtained his MD and PhD at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, and completed his residency and fellowship training at Weill Cornell Medical College, after which he remained on the faculty for 5 years.  He currently works half-time as a pediatric neurologist/epileptologist at Sanford Children’s Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and is an assistant professor at the University of South Dakota. He also owns a financial planning and tax-preparation firm (STKeros Financial Planning LLC), where he provides investment advice and general financial planning advice and services on an “hourly-only” basis.
